How are habits built? Is it something you just force yourself to do for 30 days and it's instantly ingrained in you? Is it something that can be taught in a weekend?


Two things about GOOD habits that most people INTUITIVELY know, but it's usually not obvious:


1) You can't teach good habits to someone, they have to be built internally

2) Good habits have to be built out of actual desire to be better


Habits are not built quickly, or easily. Likewise, habits are not broken quickly or easily. Once they're established, habits run your life when you "check out" or go on autopilot.


Here's the deal...if those habits that you've established are GOOD habits that exist to drive you to your goal, then your "check out" or "autopilot" modes just lead to more of the same: SUCCESS IN FITNESS.
