How do you deal with toxic people in your life surrounding your fitness ambitions?
What even ARE toxic people?
A toxic person is someone in your life (friend, coworker, family member, etc) that realizes that you are making moves towards a fitness goal, and instead of being supportive and getting behind you, they pour all of their negative energy on you to try and hold you back.
Ever notice sometimes how people do this? They give you a bunch of shit for trying to do good, healthy, positive things for your body?
They don't necessarily mean to do it. This comes from a place of insecurity and lack of self-worth.
What you're experiencing is them pouring out their emotional dissatisfaction with themselves and their life choices. But, regardless of the reason, it's still a problem because it can affect you and your ambitions.
So how do you deal with it?
In this episode, I talk about the importance of creating the right circle of people in order to have the most positive influences and impact on your life on a daily basis. I also talk about what it really takes to cut someone out of your life who is injecting negative energy, and how that is really the only move if you want to actually achieve your fitness goals.
