Q & A call-in discussion with a survivor professional, using an OPEN MIKE forum. We'll feature a survivor-professional co-host who'll field topics brought to the episode by you, the listener. ~~ Tonight's Survivor Professional, host is Kim Lakin. Kim is an instructor for Darkness to Light, Stewards of Children. An adult class designed to help teach adults how to Recognize, React, and Respond to a discovery of abuse. How you respond can make a difference in how a child heals or struggles through life. A longtime volunteer for NAASCA, Kim has a harrowing story filled with abuses of all types. She takes advocating for children very seriously and has her whole life. ~~ On these episodes we welcome survivor professionals who'll assist in fielding questions and lead a variety of topics suggested by our call-in participants.
