Tonight's special guest is Lang Martinez from Oxnard, California, who  was violently and sexually abused as a teenager in Los Angeles. He was often seduced with cocaine and forced to perform sexual acts while underage. He also became a cocaine dealer inside a network of nightclubs and homes for Hollywood's Elite. Throughout his entire adult life, Lang has been trapped inside a life filled with risky behavior, drug addiction, imprisonment, and homelessness. He's had moments in his life where he managed to legitimatize himself with a career and family, only to destroy it all with his addiction and criminal-minded activity. Today, Lang is recovering from a serious methamphetamine addiction that left him homeless and dead on the streets of Oxnard, California. During his recovery, he found the energy to fight and advocate for better homeless services in Ventura County while struggling for his own stability as he continues to reach out to help others and essentially help himself become a better person in the process. Lang is a freak of nature; a street pariah with nine lives. His wealth of knowledge comes from his lived experience through imprisonments, hospital stays, and mental health services. Unfortunately, the sexual abuse and allegations made by his perpetrator severely wounded his brilliant mind. His life of crime, addiction, and homelessness leaves him in a category of degenerates and undesirable found on skid row in Los Angeles. Nonetheless, Lang is purposefully and quickly trying to reinvent himself so he can help others who are victims of child sexual abuse. He’s learning along the way as he tries to heal himself by becoming stable and a respected member of society.
