When I heard about the passing of close friend and soul brother, Nathan De Abreu, I went and picked up his favourite book that he recommended to me.

I turned to the first page and it read the following:
“I know that there is a reason for everything. Yet perhaps at the moment that an event occurs we have neither the insight nor the foresight to comprehend the reason, but with time and patience it will come to light” (Brian Weiss - Many Lives, Many Masters).

Last week, I got to honour Nathan’s life - and this week, I wanted to share some of the lessons I found in his death and the ultimate reminder death brings. I've learned that this moment is all we have and it’s our relationship to this moment that shapes the quality of our life. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, but right now is. So cherish the now, and appreciate life.

This podcast episode is part of my IGVT series called “Weekly Lessons,” where I chat solo about some of the things I’ve learned throughout the week. I’ll be releasing these as a video on my Instagram every week, and every Friday as a podcast.
