     Atty. Justin L. Smith, Esq. is a graduate from the University of Detroit, School of Law (1994) and was conferred an Accountancy degree from the University of Notre Dame (1989). He has practiced in all levels of federal and state court.    


     Since 2004, his firm has developed a practice focused on landlord representation and as of 2015, they've represented more publically-funded housing management organizations than any other law firm in Michigan.       


     He is the past Chairman of the Oakland County Bar Association, Lawyer Referral Service and has been a landlord-tenant law contributor to The Michigan Lawyers Weekly and The Detroit Free Press; his marketing strategies were featured in DBusiness Magazine alongside the notable legal law firms of Jeffrey Feiger, Sam Bernstein, Joumana Kayrouz, and Mike Morse. He was featured on WDIV (Channel 4 Detroit) on squatter rights. He has been a regular speaker before the Michigan Housing Directors Association and National Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NHRO), and private real estate investment groups.      


     In addition, He is also a real estate investor with properties in three South Oakland County Communities and certified as a Senior Property Manager for a national property management company for HUD-funded housing programs.
