The United States Secret service is proud to introduce to you the very first episode of our the new Podcast, "Standing Post: Inside Stories of the Secret Service." I’m your host, Cody Starken, and I’ll take you on a learning adventure about what the U.S. Secret Service has to offer. On July 5th, 2018, we introduce to you the Deputy Assistant Director of Protective Operations Mr. Ronald Layton. With Ron’s help, we will take you through a brief history of the agency and provide insight into the culture of this great organization. Mr. Layton will talk about his journey on becoming a Secret Service Special Agent, what it’s like behind the scenes and some interesting facts you may not know about the people, mission, and the organization.
