Summary:

This mom knows how to have fun! With the dream of becoming a mom, our guest for today has accomplished it four times! Brittany Crane is a mom of four who lives for the adventure. She mentions that being a mom just fits well with her nurturing side. As the podcast deepens,  you’ll listen to her helping herself through an acquired understanding of self-compassion.  Now, she helps other women, moms, and wives live their best lives through self-compassion.

But it wasn’t all fun and adventure for this resilient mother of four. Being stacked against severe postpartum depression, especially after her third baby, Brittany describes that her hormones went crazy,  and she felt like she didn’t have a support system. For over a year, Brittany struggled with bouts of depression alongside therapy sessions. She started diving into self-compassion and better understanding herself, and she was able to pull out of depression. During a drive during a family trip, she had a moment that God told her to get out and play, that she had one life, and she needed to live it by doing things she enjoys. That was the turning point. So, she put herself back on the priority list and started doing things for herself. That led to the creation of the Get Out There Girl brand and to write a self-compassion workbook. She took everything she learned from therapy and compiled her knowledge into the self-compassion study.

Listen in with Cassandra and Brittany and hear how being stacked against something can lead to a life full of adventures, not only your own experiences but with other people. Come along this journey, and let’s play.
