Previous Episode: Our Next Adventure

It's almost inevitable--one day, the DM's well of inspiration will run dry. Or perhaps you're a new DM, and feel daunted by the task that lies ahead? Either way, in this special episode we offer some places from which you can draw inspiration in coming up with ideas.

In this episode, we share our memories of our recent family trip to Germany. We got to see some magnificent, inspirational places that are simply fuel for fantasy role-playing games! Throughout the week, check out our Twitter and Instagram pages for pictures and videos we'll share.

In particular, we'll talk about:

The lovely university town of Heidelberg, and its gorgeous old town main street
Neuschwanstein, the lovely and graceful castle built through a mad king's fancy
Rothenburg, a fantastic walled medieval city, perhaps the best-preserved in the world
Heidelberg Castle, which still keeps a watchful eye over the town below
Neuleiningen, the castle and village that captured Rhett's young imagination and was a completely serendipitous find
Schwetzingen Gardens, the impressive formal display complete with fanciful buildings tucked away in each corner

There was lots for us to see and do, but we couldn't do it complete justice in this brief episode. If you have questions about a place, please send them our way!

And if you like what you hear, please take a moment to leave us a five star rating on iTunes--it will help connect us with other gamers.
