Spirituality means many different things to different people. But this episode paints a broad picture of spirituality for a diverse audience, and I illustrate some aspects of spirituality by telling listeners about my own spiritual history and my unique path. I describe what has been called the "perennial philosophy" and go into some important principles that arise from this spiritual philosophy: consciousness as primary, oneness, and wholeness. I emphasize that spirituality is experiential, there is no right or wrong way to explore spirituality, and everyone is on their own path. But spirituality can provide very powerful experiences and rewarding benefits, including greater satisfaction and joy in life. I also indicate some spirituality topics that future podcast episodes will be tackling.
