Hello Language Lovers! Thank you for joining me for this episode of Speaking Tongues- the podcast in conversation with multilinguals. This week, I’m so happy to be joined by Abigail and Audrey from You Don’t Say Podcast! We’re talking about Spanish, Italian and Mandarin but also about culture, travel and of course, food!

In this episode, we talk about growing up in multicultural neighborhoods in Australia and England and how those early encounters played a part in how they see the world. We discuss being inspired by different cultures enough to live in a different part of the world, learning other languages and how that can enhance the living abroad experience and how to deal with culture shock in new places. We also talk about how they both became inspired to teach English and how their podcast “You Don’t Say” became an outlet for exploration and fun international culture chats.

Big thank you to Abigail and Audrey for having this conversation with me and sharing parts of your language journey with us.
