Paul is joined again by Deeksha Sahoo, an 11th grade student from Odisha in India, to talk about the stories we tell ourselves, and how they can affect our moods and even define us. Specifically, Deeksha wants to tell her particular story about finding her Sunshine - her Mother, which will be featured in a book called 'Speaking From Our Hearts, Vol. 4: Back To Basics'.

Stories are things we make up that we can rely on, I’ve made a story in my mind that my Sunshine is everything to me. I would start my story with something she said to me and form there the story will help people to learn and inspire them and even to teach people from the mistake me and my Mum have made so that they know there is always going to be a happy ending.

Deeksha is a student of Grade 11th from an Eastern State of India called Odisha, presently studying in Jain PU College in Bangalore. She had been very keen in sports from her childhood, and has won many District, State & National Level Awards in different sports – such as roller-skating, swimming, rifle shooting and horse riding
More recently, she has been a State-Level Boxing Champion. Her other interest are in photography, painting and film-making, for which she was awarded Dada Saheb Palke Award – one of the highest awards for film-makers. Deeksha has been very keen in the social sector, and been actively volunteering with few organisations like WWF, Blood Connect & World Literacy Foundation etc. She aspires to pursue her career in the Sports and Journalism sector.
