I’ve studied a lot of successful people, and there are examples of great feminist soulful leaders: a young black girl who grew up in poverty to becoming the world’s first black billionaire – Oprah Winfrey, A young sex slave from a Yazidi/Kurdish background, called Nadia Murad, who was stolen by ISIS who went on in 2018 to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Under pressure most people would buckle and lose control, but all we can do is stay calm, and loving, and caring throughout all the trials and tribulations of life and know that everything is possible through love and care.
My whole life is about making a positive impact in the lives of as many people around the world as possible. I went through so many challenges, starting with war and injuries that threatened my life. I’ve had the chance to take care of my father who passed away at 85, that was a very humbling experience, to have someone you love so much pass away in your arms. It gave me a perspective of putting myself in his shoes. If it was me, what would I have done and accomplished? This kind of perspective – looking at your life from the end – should be focussed on more than the hustle of today. Reverse engineer your thinking to think “what impact will I have made when I take my last breath?”
