I’m really passionate about legacy. My children, being born and raised in Canada, were separated from my family who were from a rural Kurdish background. Part of my mission was to be a bridge builder and this is a legacy I want to leave behind, I believe we are all bridge builders between the past and future generations. The bridge I’m building will empower my children through knowing the roots of their family and where they came from. Children need a solid basis and it’s our job to teach them and show them an example of leaving a legacy. They can learn anything if we set an example.
