This episode means so much to me and it was only fitting that after finding my path to self-love, that on my birthday we discuss this very topic. See last year was one of the toughest years of my life. Last year I had my 4th miscarriage at 12 1/2 weeks on April 19th. I was running my business, in school full time, and a practicing intern therapist. Loving myself use to be hard. Loving myself has had its ups and downs. I’ve felt lost, hurt, hopeless, embarrassed, and alone. I’ve felt joy, accomplished, worthy, loved, and encouraged. I’ve felt the sting of despair as I found it hard to like my own body, let alone to love it. I’ve felt betrayed by my body, my womanhood. .
Loving ourselves through the process of owning our stories is the bravest thing we will ever do...Â
Tapping into the energy and emotion of loving yourself is the most ＰＯＷＥＲＦＵＬ thing you can do.Â
