Wow, it has been one year of "Jazz 101/SOMETHING...came from Baltimore" and here is the first interview (not recorded) but got on the air. This is an interview with the wonderful violin jazz artist Regina Carter, who just released a great album that celebrated Ella Fitzgerald 100th year of birth called, "Ella: Ac-cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive". This is a really great album.

This is not the original edit of the episode that air on 88.9FM Morgan State Radio, I submitted this episode to air, and my producer at the time said it was too busy, so he reworked the whole episode. They did not like the B-Day tribute at the beginning and the end of the episode, but I had cuts from Ella to contrast the original with Regina’s new version.
Remember – this is a “Jazz 101” show that aired at the station, but the show was canceled when they changed the stations format, “SOMETHING…came from Baltimore” is season two, most shows are recorded at home. The guests are Jazz, Funky, Local and National, all worth listening to. Tell your friends, subscribe, make comments, and forward. We are growing and we want you to come along for the ride.
