Tune in to hear Bill's interview with Tom Cisco, Interim Director for Volusia County Emergency Management!

Tom has been with Volusia County for 5 years and has worked in emergency management for 19 years. Over the course of those 19 years, Tom has worked 7 federally declared disasters, including a recent two-week deployment to Bay County, Florida where he wrote a long term recovery plan for recovery efforts after Hurricane Michael.

Join us as Bill & Tom talk about topics such as creating an "Action Plan" for when disaster strikes, as well as the importance and implementation of local shelters for residents with special needs who can't readily evacuate when a storm is approaching.

If you live in a hurricane-prone area (hint: all of Florida and the Gulf Coast) this is an episode you will need to hear!
