George is a District Conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) division of the USDA, and he does work with farmers, ranchers, and forest operators to help with their conservation planning and technical needs. The programs provide cost-share on practices that have an environmental benefit by addressing specific resource concerns (soil, air, water, plants, and animals, as well as energy and human considerations). In addition, the services George and the NRCS provides are voluntary and free of charge!
