Carolyn took us to the start of her career, as a journalist searching for a job in a foreign country. She told us how she found her first job writing tech documentation, and how this gave her the wish to learn to code. We talked about finding your path where you don't even know what to search for, tiptoeing in dev and becoming a technical writer. We talked about public speaking and how Carolyn found a sweet spot that makes use of her unique skills as a dev, a journalist and a storyteller.
