We are living in some truly chaotic, frustrating, and worrisome times. COVID-19 has completely shifted and altered the way we live our lives, run our businesses, and interact as humans.
None of us were expecting this, none of this is anyone's fault and many people are worried about not only losing their businesses but losing their ability to provide for their families and their own livelihood.
We now live in a world where the government can flat out tell us who is considered "essential" and who is considered "non-essential." Like it or not, that's just the way it ended up being, and unfortunately, we had no control of it.
It's sad and disappointing to me that good quality and effective soft tissue practitioners, specifically massage therapists, were unfairly deemed "non-essential" and were one of the first groups to be shut down.
The problem we are seeing is that the first businesses to be shut down will also be the last ones to get to open up, that just flat out sucks, but it is reality.
It's going to be quite a tough road going forward for massage therapists, especially these next 90 days. In this episode, I give some real predictions based on facts and looking at the data of what the massage therapy profession will look like.
The key take-home is to always look at the facts, make real judgments and decisions based on what is going on, and understand that things are going to change, regardless if you like it or not.
