How to alter your marketing and messaging to avoid being labeled as a luxury...

I have been spending the past few weeks having conversations with other soft tissue practitioners, specifically massage therapists about what is happening and what they think will happen in the post-COVID-19 world. Many people are scared, frustrated, sad, pessimistic and just going crazy from not being able to do the work they love and also dealing with the long-term financial consequences.  

Then there are the deniers and people with their heads in the sand and just are waiting it out and “believe” they will just be back to normal business very soon, doing the same things they used to do. I am here to be a voice of realism and honesty and helping you prepare for the inevitable changes that will come down the road.  

I’ve already made it clear that patients are going to be afraid to come in for a while and be around other people and covered it at lengths in past episodes. In this episode I go into the long term effects of you have been typecasted as a luxury service, spa service, relax or pamper.  You won’t survive in the new post COVID economy if you keep marketing that way, that’s just the hard reality.
