A former pro road cyclist sits down with me today to share his thoughts about the athlete-company relationship and his experiences as a cyclist. He's currently a professional gravel cyclist, who rides with a mini dachshund, Willie, and a co-host of the show From The Ground Up, Alexey Vermeulen.

As an athlete, we experience good and bad things while doing the sport we love. And so I ask Alexey what comes to his mind to switch from road to gravel cycling. He then openly shares what he thinks about road racing as time passes by and what are the barriers one may experience from it.

We also touch down talking about the feeling of fulfillment, especially to his experience upon having the change of path in his athletic career, and what he thinks about making decisions as an adult.

Moreover, if you or someone you know plans about getting a sponsor from certain companies, Alexey has something to tell about what you need to learn before proceeding and how athlete-company relationships should work to benefit from each other.

Watch my full interview with Alexey to learn more and find out what's the interesting thing about Leadville!
