Ep. 164 - Dr. Sarah Zimmer

I sit down today with a distance runner and cyclist who has her Doctor of Physical Therapy and previously won in the Michael Jackson moonwalking competition in 2014, Dr. Sarah Zimmer.

She's from a place full of athletic people, so we hear from her about the different situations she had with her patients as a physical therapist. But before we move forward, she shares with me how she got into physical therapy and what she loves to do most in this profession.

Dr. Sarah also mentions how she diagnoses her patients with injuries and why she has to be a detective in this kind of situation. Moreover, I get a chance to learn from her the process she does in helping athletes to load properly and understand the importance of each procedure she applies.

Before we end our talk, I ask Dr. Sarah's approach to women who wants to get back to exercise after giving birth. She also addresses some related "myths" that are circling around.
