AC/DC & Slash's Snakepit Concerts 8/3/00 & 9/3/00

The Slamfest Podcast brings the premier rock concert pregaming experience from the parking lot to the podcasting airwaves. Episode 60 - Brad finally gets his brother, Matt and Slamfest crew member, Mike, on the same episode (see episode 52).  

This episode revolves around AC/DC's Stiff Upper Lip tour wsg. Slash's Snakepit.  Brad and Matt saw it at The Palace of Auburn Hills, outside of Detroit, in early August, 2000 and Matt and Mike saw it at Kemper Arena in Kansas City in early September, 2000.  After going through Mike's background with AC/DC and all of their backgrounds with Slash's Snakept, they review the shows they saw.  For the Band on the Bill Spotlight, they dive into the Slash's Snakepit album, Ain't Life Grand, released in the Fall of 2000 - two and a half months after the tour started.  After a Slamfest Tip of the Week, they are faced with a "Which Side are you On?" - Side 1 or Side 2 off of AC/DC's fourth studio album, Let There Be Rock, from 1977.
