The biggest lesson I learned this week was about the value of being vs. doing.

It is easy to get caught up in a world of doing and feeling burnt out.

Consider who you want to be when looking at goals you want to achieve, rather than just what you need to do.

One way to find a state of being is to explore your values and live them throughout your goal process.

Another method of journaling is to record yourself. You can tell a story or talk about your day. You don't need a fancy microphone and can even just record yourself on your phone or on your voicemail. Listen back to the recording to check in and see where you are hearing excitement and stress. Look at how you are talking to yourself, as these are the messages that are likely going through your head all day. Are you kind to yourself?
