Her Advice for Single Parents:

When it comes to feeling overwhelmed, the best place to start is with 3 deep breaths. From here, I want you to think about your week / day and identify the TOP 3 things that need to get done each day. NO MORE THAN 3. Part of the problem with overwhelm is that we focus on ALL the things, instead of what's truly most important. Maybe the laundry is clean and waiting to be folded - can it wait another day? Maybe the dishes stay in the dishwasher until tomorrow night? Decide what's important to YOU, and then praise yourself when you get those things done. Also, stop telling yourself how overwhelmed you are - instead try new thoughts like "I'm figuring this out," or "I'm getting better and better every day."
