This time of year, it is completely natural to reflect back on where we are in our lives.


But while reflection is natural and even healthy in some ways, it is important to recognize that our implicit negativity bias can make things seem more negative than they really are.


And THIS year????


Well, let’s just say that in 2020 our collective negativity bias is turned up to 11!


In today’s video, I offer three practices to help get through this holiday season with your mental, physical, and emotional health intact.


First, balancing the negativity bias by noticing what is right in your life.


Second, accepting and honoring exactly where you are right now.


And finally, a practice of self compassion.
