What struck ewe most from this episode - and why?

Our guest this week endorses a holistic learning approach, much of it in nature-rich surroundings.  Founder and director of Saltbox Training and Events, established in 2008, much of Nicki Davey's work focuses on helping people to learn in, with and from nature.

Clients of Saltbox are mainly charities and commercial organisations with "a purpose beyond profit".  Nicki believes that by helping their people to be more aware, more connected, and more compassionate, it will help to foster the sustainability and wellbeing of the planet and humankind.

During lockdown she has completed and published the beautifully illustrated Holistic Learning Handbook, a project which Nicki conceived many years ago - and it's well worth the wait.

As one reviewer describes it: "Nicki has blended her insights from the psychology of learning and years of practical experience in training people to create a practical manual full of ideas and inspiration".

In this episode, our conversation includes:
- the joy of shared experiences and finding common denominators
- the detail of Mother Nature - what does a sheep look like? No, really look like...?
- recognising and capitalising on different views, opinions and perspectives within a team
- where there's change there's opportunity

Enjoy - and thank ewe for listening :-)
