Researchers tell us that we think approximately 60,000 thoughts per day—and the majority of those are negative. Although we can assume that there is individual variation, many of us are experiencing a lot of negativity from our own minds every day. So how do we overcome these constant negative thoughts? The answer is: we don’t. Instead, we embrace this normal way of thinking and learn to accept that this is our brain's way of making sure we are safe.
