Our Friday Coffee Talk episodes are a time for Danielle and I to chat about anything and everything. We are so happy this community enjoys hearing us talk about things that often get discussed at a coffee shop, the things you tell your girlfriends. Today we are sipping coffee and talking about staying healthy while working from home, both physically and mentally.

Danielle and I share what we struggle with, what we do well and we also share some tips from our amazing online friends!

Kristan Kremer I make a batch of lunches for the week on Sunday and put them in pre-portioned individual containers in the freezer. It's sort of like having a set of Lean Cuisines but you get way more food and less sodium and it's cheaper and more delicious. Helps me stick to my meal plan instead of freaking out when I'm hungry and eating all my kid's Goldfish.

Lindsey Johnson I work from home, plus stay home with my two little boys full-time. A saving grace of mine is to get us all outdoors for a walk down our country road. (A double-jogging stroller is this mama's friend!) It's an hour of fresh air, physical exercise, a mental reprieve, yet also time to brainstorm. Some of the best business or creative breakthroughs come from my time walking.

Zena Thomas When I work from home I try to hit the gym early since I know I don't have a commute. When I get home I make sure I shower and put on real clothes...no pjs or lounge clothes but sweats or fitness gear. I try to make sure I'm active by scheduling in short chores I can do throughout the day and never sit on the couch or bed Bc it's downhill from there.

Casey Sibley Meditating! On the days that I meditate first thing in the morning, I'm so much more focused. I was skeptical, but there is something about spending a few minutes clearing my mind and focusing on the body that helps me control invasive, distracting thoughts and stay motivated throughout my work day.
