How many times has everybody heard (or said it themselves) "I think X is true", "I feel X is true.", "I believe X is true."? You have to ask yourself, did they really tell you anything X? Or did they tell you something about themselves? If you conversation was supposed to be about X, then why would it turn into a subjective conversation about them? "I think", "I feel", and "I believe", are not synonyms for "I know", but we use them as if they were. We all think, feel, and believe many things, but we KNOW next to nothing.
