What software is the default option in your desired field of work?

If you need to use Photoshop, then you’re on macOS or Windows. If you mainly need terminal then macOS and Linux are Unix based systems so you have a good terminal.

I think that this question brings up a bigger one though, which operating system makes you more productive? Is a traditional desktop operating system even in the running then?
