Sept 15th I ran my second 50km race, commonly called an Ultra Marathon because it’s longer than a marathon. Unfortunately this year I fell off a cliff at the end of July and messed up my ankle. That meant I was coming in to the race with two months of mostly no training.

I had a single 27km run as a long run the weekend before and that run sucked. My ankle is still not 100% and a single bad step could end my race because the ankle just doesn’t flex. I finished, but it was a hard race. Where my original goal was to finish faster than my first year because I’d have another year of training under my belt I was just happy to finish without destroying my ankle.

That’s a bit what business is like sometimes. Watch today’s video or listen to the audio to hear me talk more about when business gets hard.
