It is a timely reminder about what’s really important for us all.
KEY TAKE AWAYS
Christmas shopping
Take advantage of online shopping and the gift wrapping services they offer. Means you can do it when you want to and free’s up time to spend doing the things you want to do. For food shopping make sure you’re not trying to do it on Christmas Eve, it will defineatly be very stressful at this time.
Plan your Christmas exercise routine
The Gym might be only be open for some of the time but there is the great outdoors. even if you only manage 20 minutes a day, you will feel the effects and your body will thank you for it .
Try and take a break from work
This can be hard to do lap tops and phones always within reach but if you can take some time use it in a different way and although Christmas is a time for giving be kind to yourself as well. Remember you have to nourish your mind and body
Don’t succumb to peer pressure you might find you’re invited to lots of things sometimes by people you don’t see very often. If you want to go thats great but don’t feel you have to. Maybe consider having a few nights off and save your energy for the people who are most important to you. People you love the most including yourself.
Use this time to forgive yourself and others
This could be a time to let go of negative feelings. If you are angry at someone the only person who really gets hurt is you. Ask yourself do you really want to go into the new year with that baggage, can you let it go? It causes you mental stress and you don’t need to carry that forward into the new year.
BEST MOMENTS
“Mark exercise dates on your calender and stick to them”
“The consequences from sugar loading, that lead to highs and lows are not good for your body”
“save your energy for the people who are most important to you. People you love the most, including yourself”
