I’m always looking for ways to be more efficient in my business. While I do love online business I don’t want to have to do it 24 hours a day. Given the choice, I would much prefer spending less time at my computer, and more time relaxing, thinking, going on walks around the countryside, hanging out with friends wherever I want to. 

So one of the ways I reduce stress and become more efficient is by using tools & software to speed up my work & keep my stress levels low. Here are 5 of my favourite tools. If you want to get the full list of tools I use, you can download it at www.sweetfunnelstrategy.com 

Canva. Absolutely brilliant for creating logos, brand boards, sales page pictures, FB ad images, checklists, PDFs, assessments and workbooks. I feel like I’m back in art class in school and love how it lets me be really creative. Everything I make in there ends up looking really nice!

Asana. I can’t remember everything. And when I start to forget stuff I get stressed. So I put every task I have to do into Asana. And I group them by category (I end up with about 6 or 7 categories -eg. (Podcast, personal stuff, general business stuff, coaching clients, etc). And each tasks is assigned a date to do it. So now I never forget anything I have to do, and I FEEL organised. And so my stress disappears.

Trello. It took me a while to figure out this one. But now I use it for major milestones. I have 3 boards. A to do board. A work in progress boards. And a done board. On these boards I put the names of my major projects, offers & launches. As they progress along, they get moved along the boards. It means I can get a big picture of my biz in just one glance. And it keeps me on track as I can always see the big picture. 

Google drive. I love it so much. All of google. Gmail. Storing files on G drive. Google forms for surveys. Google slides for powerpoints. Easy. Magic.

DaVinci Resolve. I created, directed an award-winning 7 part docu-series about 2 years ago, called Listening to the Horse. It took me 6 months to create & launch it from start to finish. I could definitely tell you some crazy stories about that time! It ended up being a massive success and has been watched by over 120,000 people worldwide since then, and I even ended up flying to New York to picture up an award at the EQUUS Film Festival. But the software I used is a free video editing software that is used in the major Hollywood studios. It’s called Davinci Resolve. And it’s miles better than Adobe Premiere.
