In this episode, I sit down and talk with Ian Horowitz. Ian has been a Baltimore City firefighter for over 13 years. Needing an out for retirement, he decided real estate was the best path. Ian got started in the affordable housing market in Baltimore with single family rentals, since then Ian has built a portfolio of over 100 properties , and is the author of, "Subsidized", a book on how to learn, navigate, and profit from investing in the affordable housing market.

Over the last 1-2 years Ian has dove into commercial and multi-family housing. Most recently, he has added self-storage to his portfolio, picking up over 100,000 square feet in the past year alone and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down
