005 - 19-Year-Old Brett Abamonte on Investing in Self-Storage Over Single Family

On  this episode, I talk with 19-year-old Brett Abamonte. About a year and a half ago, Brett was exhaustingly pursuing single-family rentals as a means for cash flow and wealth generation. As the laws have become increasingly more unfavorable towards landlords, he turned to self storage in the summer of 2020. Brett walked from his 2 two deals under contract and is currently under contract on a third: a 18,000 sf facility in Texas. He also has two additional deals in his pipeline. We’ll be talking about what helped him shift his focus and what keeps him going when deals don’t go as planned.
