Lorenzo Alexander Chambers has published two books and a screenplay based on African-American people and culture. His latest novel, Gypsy Woman is a haunting yet hopeful coming of age story of Maximus Talisman and his friends growing up in Brooklyn, New York.

He is a charismatic scholar who divides his time among his writing and advancing the next generation through his leadership expertise. Chambers is a strong advocate of education and has served as an elementary school principal for over twelve years.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Chambers travels extensively and has lived abroad in Italy. He holds a Bachelors of Art degree from Dartmouth College, a Masters of Education from Long Island University and advanced leadership certificates from Brooklyn College and The New York City Leadership Academy.
