Greetings Leaders.

You can experience the best days of your life by deciding now what you want to become and accomplish. Discovering your purpose in life is essential in reaching your full potential all the days of your life. "No life grows great until it is focused, dedicated and disciplined."

The exciting adventure of finding our purpose starts with a fundamental question.
"Why am I here and what is my life's purpose?
Think about the great leaders and the impact of their lives once they discovered their purpose. Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King, Jr., Maya Angelou are a few examples that come to my mind.

Take time to write down what you believe is your purpose in life. Someone suggested this exercise to me with the promise that doing so would significantly contribute to my success in life and career. "May the latter glory of your life be greater than the former glory."

Each day before I start the day, I reflect on what I am accomplishing, goals and activities for the day. I decided to try the suggestion during my time of planning and reflecting. Here is what I discovered in the process.

Discovering your purpose in life drives your vision. Having a vision sparks our thinking toward the envisioned desire. The strength of our desire promotes discipline in our thinking. The pathway of disciplined thinking transforms our character as we adjust our attitudes and behaviors to align with the person we envision becoming. In the process, we are changing and preparing for something far more significant than most can imagine at the time.
This quote comes to me.
"Sow a thought reap an action. Sow an action reap a habit. Sow a habit reap a character. Sow a character reap a destiny."

Winston Churchill spoke of the process.
“I felt as if I were walking with destiny, and that all my past life had been but a preparation for this hour and this trial... I thought I knew a good deal about it all, and I was sure I should not fail.”
― Winston Churchill, The Second World War

Great day! What an encouraging thought that you can know your purpose and reach your full potential.

Be encouraged and believe that the latter glory of your life and career will be higher than the former. How is this possible?
