Sometimes changes, pending storms, and uncertainty produce fear and anxiety in us.

Our perception sometimes causes us to respond by fleeing because we are fearful of the outcomes — a pending organizational change, losing a big sales opportunity or doubting that we can flourish where we are.

When you find yourself questioning if you are in the right place, choose to refocus on your vision and purpose in life. Your vision and mission are designed to empower you to persevere and walk by faith toward your goals and destination. Don't quit or give up.

During my four-decade-plus career journey in sales and leadership, there have been times that challenged my faith that I was in the right place, and I could flourish.
I discovered that if we patiently wait and continue to do what we know is right, a breakthrough will occur. Do not grow weary in doing good for at the proper time you will reap a harvest and receive a reward.
I recall my early months and years wondering if I was in the right place especially while there seemed to be other more appealing options and even suggestions from well-meaning friends to quit because the effort required seemed too high of a price to pay.
Nevertheless, my idea of whom I wanted to become and accomplish and the critical decision to commit to the journey gave me my first breakthrough. My sales began to rise along with my tenacity to overcome the battles of life and career. Managers and mentors encouraged me at just the right time. I am discovering that at the right time, we receive what is needed to win the battles of life and career if we don't give up. Sometimes it comes in surprising ways.
