Greetings, Summit Leaders.

Rejoice in the new opportunities in front of us as leaders!

Our response is to be one of faith and boldness with confidence to move forward to more incredible accomplishments.

Some of our most significant accomplishments and impact can be inside the little opportunities. Don't despise the day of small beginnings. Be faithful to take the steps required of us.

Today, I heard a new Summit Leader say, "the success we see today in IBM's 100+ year story is the result of the accumulation of good decisions."

Wisdom, discernment, knowledge, and understanding are vitally important in the lives of great leaders for deciding, who to hire, when to call, what steps to take, and knowing when it's wise to wait.

Today, great leaders are essential during times of change, uncertainty, and challenges.

One attribute that we see in the lives of great leaders is integrity.

"Integrity is the seed for achievement. It is the principle that never fails." Earl Nightingale.

How do great leaders make their calling and election as leaders sure?

"Many people begin the process of changing their habits by focusing on what they want to achieve. This leads us to outcome-based habits. The alternative is to build identity-based habits. With this approach, we start by focusing on who we wish to become." James Clear Atomic Habits

Integrity! This mindset dominates the thinking of great leaders. It is one of the most empowering attributes in the heart of a leader.

Great leaders operate from a position of a clean heart, a clear conscience, and a confident mind. Their success in impacting the lives of those they lead and the outcome of their decisions abides in integrity.

David, an ancient warrior and a king of Israel, demonstrates integrity during his leadership of the nation of Israel.

His vision to be a leader who impacts the lives of others is seen in his prayer.

"Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you." King David.

His leadership qualities and wisdom are seen in many great leaders today.

"So, he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands."

Summit Leaders are grateful for their calling as leaders!

They are practicing gratitude for their opportunity to lead. Great leaders understand that their effectiveness is in how they connect with people.

Others follow them because they see the light and value in their leadership.

Someone encourages us with this quote. "Therefore, my friends, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities, you will never fall."

"A life lived with integrity – even if it lacks the trappings of fame and fortune is a shining star in whose light others may follow in the years to come."

— Denis Waitley

Someone once said, "No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a bowl; instead, it is placed on the lampstand so that people may see the light as they come in."

Summit Leaders are letting their light shine for our colleagues and the ever-growing number of clients in this generation and the future generations to follow. They are finding favor in their sight!

Victory!
