Greetings, Summit Leaders.

Every day is a battle for leaders who wish to reach their maximum potential. When we understand the nature of the battle, we can win day by day. The battlefield is our thinking and what we believe.

Faith is a distinguishing attribute that enables ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary works as we serve our clients, families, communities, and nations.

What happens when we believe?
Those leaders who believe can set examples for others to follow.

"One person with belief is equal to a force of ninety-nine who have only interest."

How can we ignite our faith and win the struggles we face daily as leaders?

Remember when you believed. : Recall a circumstance that appeared impossible, yet the results worked out for good. We win the daily battles in our thinking and a "Victory Mindset."

Consider keeping a journal of your life and career journey and victories. Review them regularly. Your review of past accomplishments will bolster your confidence.

Here is a personal one I want to share with you.

"It's impossible to win this opportunity." My colleague shared his perspective following our meeting with the VP of Global Supply Chain outside my client's global headquarters. "You will have to do something crazy to overcome the competition and win this."

So, I prayed. "I've sold my house, moved to this city to take this assignment and this account. Please help me."

Within months, our company acquired the leading firm. We won the largest contract in my twenty-eight years of serving our clients.

We fulfilled our client commitments, and the delivery team earned the "Service Excellence Award" for exemplary customer service!

Believing emboldens us to set more significant goals to impact those we serve more confidently. Our energy and enthusiasm are kindled.

Think about the life of one person whose faith inspires you to believe. Remember your leaders, those who spoke words of truth to you, consider the outcomes of their lives and imitate their faith.

"Believe. No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit."
- Helen Keller

Resolve: Be determined to keep going and fight for the best interests of those you lead and serve. Be strong and persevere, for your work will be rewarded.

Leaders understand that the enemy is in our thinking. They seek to influence others for the right motives. They care for the good of those they serve.

Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president, an anti-Apartheid icon, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, is an example of the power of selflessness, loving our neighbor as ourselves, and serving others.

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."

Victory is won first in the heart and then our mind. As a man or woman thinks in their heart, so they are.

You are victorious!

Victory!
