Our world is filled with people telling us they are “Doers,” the kind of person who gets things done.

Most of these people believe it is true. You may be one of them.

But have you ever taken the time to define what a “doer” is?

Some people think it’s all about being busy. Dev Gadhvi used to think that way. The son of a truck driver from a small town in India, Dev was raised to belief that the key to success was hard work. His father instilled this work ethic in Dev at an early age, and in the traditional sense it served him well. Dev started at the bottom and worked his way up the corporate ladder. But something was missing. He found himself waiting for Friday’s knowing the weekend was coming. After thirteen years of doing what he’d been told, Dev decided there had to be more, so he quit his job and started his own business.

Today Dev is a best selling author (his book is called 80% Mindset 20%Skills), a TEDx Speaker, and bills himself as India’s 1st and #1 Passionpreneur.

How did Dev do it? He realized that being a doer was about more than hard work.  He started by investing time and money in his own personal development. He read vociferously, purchased professional development programs from people like Grant Cardone and Dab Lok, a created a Doer Mindset.

In this episode Dev shares with us the things he’s learned on his journey and why he believes anyone can create the life they way.
