One of the greatest TV series of all time made the jump to the big screen on this day in 1983. "Twilight Zone: The Movie" was an anthology of four stories, three of which were updates of Rod Serling originals. The production was plagued with complications - including a tragic accident - but audiences still celebrated the big-league talent behind the blend of science-fiction and horror.
