A stand-alone episode of School Sucks Podcast...in three parts.
Critical Thinking Question:
What are some strategies you could use to tell the difference between having a debate with someone, and watching them have an anxiety attack?
Topic:
This (first part of three) is a set-up for a two-part discussion I recently had with Wes Bertrand. On September 18th, I tried to weave a series of loosely related thoughts together into one topic, while driving. I wasn't thrilled with the result. I eventually contacted Wes to help me try to make sense of it all.
This is an examination of how fantasy is used to manage personal and/or political anxiety, the relationship between the personal and the political, and how outrage and attack are employed to deal with the disruption of fantasy.
