The NCAA has recently stated that it would "look into" allowing players to benefit from their own name, image and likeness. But someone has to wonder, why is this something they are considering now, after all these years. Our bet, is that California State Bill 206 scares the NCAA. CA State Bill 206 would not allow universities in California to punish players for benefiting off their own name, image, and likeness, something that goes directly against NCAA's own regulations.
