Labor pledges to make companies reveal gender pay gaps - 「男女間の給与格差、企業は公表を」　労働党が公約

Federal Labor says it will make companies reveal publicly how much they pay women compared to men if Labor is elected to government.

Labor says the gender pay gap is too high and women working full-time still get paid almost 15 per cent less than men working the same hours.

Workplace-rights advocates have welcomed the pledge.

連邦野党労働党は、労働党が政権の座を得た場合、男性に比べ女性にいくら支払っているかを企業に公表させると発表しています。

労働党は、男女間の給料格差は大きすぎ、女性はフルタイムで働いても、同じ時間勤務する男性よりおよそ15パーセント少ない額しか得られていない、としています。
