Government launches inquiry into foreign interference in Australia's universities - 連邦政府、大学での外国の干渉の調査に着手

The federal government has launched an inquiry into foreign interference in Australia's universities. Staff and student bodies and publicly-funded research agencies will also be under scrutiny. The federal government says its inquiry into foreign interference  will examine universities and whether knowledge and technology are being transferred to foreign powers against Australian’s national interest.

連邦政府は、オーストラリアの大学での外国の干渉に関する調査を始めました。職員や学生の団体や公的な資金による研究機関も詳しい検査の対象になります。連邦政府によりますと、その外国の干渉に関する調査会は大学と、知識やテクノロジーがオーストラリアの国益に反して外国に移転されているかどうかを調査するということです。
