I love to talk about the importance of having a purpose, so it was a joy for me to find an article and a study that showed how people with purpose are actually more level-headed and grounded then those who do not.

The study found that those who have a purpose actually get more blood flow to the part of the brain which controls decision making and also helps control an ancient part of our brain that signals fear and aggression. This means that purpose can help you better handle stress or difficult situations.

So in this world of war and chaos, make sure you take the time to find a purpose in your own life that can give you a sense of direction and fulfillment in a world where it is easy to become lost and angry.
