This week we have been talking about how failure is a necessary part of the process to being successful and today we need look no further for examples than the two teams in the Super Bowl.

The Rams had lost to the 49ers six straight times and it seemed as though the 49ers might have the upper hand in the NFC Championship Game. But the Rams’ failures lead to a solid game plan that shut down the 49ers running game and picked apart their secondary for a 20-17 win.

In the AFC the Cincinnati Bengals are quarterbacked by Joe Burrow. Burrow has his own story of failure leading to success. After spending three frustrating years at Ohio State and not being able to land the starting quarterback job, he transferred to LSU where he dominated and won a National Championship and the Heisman Trophy. Now he plays fearlessly and is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL.
